                    การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษไม่ควรเรียนจากในตำราอย่างเดียว แต่ควรฝึกจากการที่เจ้าของภาษาใช้กันจริงๆ ว่าพูดแบบไหนบ้าง มาฝึกพูดประโยคภาษาอังกฤษถามทางและบอกทางที่น่ารู้กันค่ะ

การถามทาง
- Do you know where I can find the station?
คุณรู้มั้ยว่าฉันจะหาสถานีเจอได้ยังไง

- How do I get to the library from here?
ฉันจะไปห้องสมุดจากจุดนี้ได้ยังไง

- Would you happen to know where the post office is?
คุณช่วยบอกได้มั้ยว่าไปรษณีย์อยู่ที่ไหน

- Could you please tell me how to get to the park?
คุณบอกฉันได้มั้ยว่าจะไปสวนสาธารณะได้ยังไง

หากคนมาทางแล้วเราไม่รู้ทาง
- I’m sorry, I’m not from around here.

จริงๆ แล้ว การฝึกพูดจากหนังสือก็ใช้ได้นะคะ แต่ถ้าให้ดูดีและดูง่ายขึ้น มาฝึกแบบที่เจ้าของภาษาใช้กันดูค่ะ

หนังสือ >> Go straight down this street ตรงไปตามถนนนี้
ประโยคที่ใช้จริง  >>
Head down that way
Just along here
Just go down here
Follow this street
Head up there
Head this way
It’s basically that way


หนังสือ >> Turn right at the traffic lights เลี้ยวขวาที่ไฟจราจร
ประโยคที่ใช้จริง  >>
Take a right at the lights
เลี้ยวขวาที่ไฟจราจร
Hang a right at the intersection
เลี้ยวขวาที่ไฟจราจร
Make a right at the lights
เลี้ยวขวาที่ไฟจราจร
Take the road on the right
ไปที่ถนนทางขวา
Make sure you go right at the first big corner

หนังสือ >> Continue going straight ahead until you reach Main Street ตรงไปเรื่อยๆ จนถึงถนนสายหลัก
ประโยคที่ใช้จริง  >>
Continue on ’til you get to Main, which is the one with the bank on the corner
เดินไปเรื่อยๆ จนคุณถึงเส้นหลัก จะมีธนาคารที่หัวมุม

Keep going ’til you hit the intersection at Main
เดินตรงไปเรื่อยๆ จนถึงไฟแดงที่ถนนเส้นหลัก

You’re gonna wanna keep going ’til you see the bank at the traffic lights
คุณต้องเดินตรงไปเรื่อยๆ จนเห็นธนาคารที่ไฟจราจร

Don’t stop until you get to the coffee shop with the red roof, which is next to the bank
เดินไปอย่าหยุดจนเห็นร้านกาแฟที่มีอิฐสีแดงซึ่งอยู่ถัดจากธนาคาร

You’re gonna go about 2 blocks ’til you hit Main Street
คุณต้องเดินไปประมาณ 2 บล็อกจนถึงถนนเส้นหลัก


หนังสือ >>  Then it is the building on the left แล้วจะเจอตึกด้านซ้ายมือ
ประโยคที่ใช้จริง  >>
You’ll know it, it’ll be the one on the left with the green sign
คุณจะรู้เองว่าถึงแล้ว มันจะอยู่ด้านซ้าย มีป้ายสีเขียว

Then you’re gonna see it on the left opposite the bank
จากนั้นคุณจะเห็นมันอยู่ทางซ้าย ตรงข้ามกับธนาคาร

It’ll be on the left, and if you get to the gallery you’ll know you’ve gone too far
มันอยู่ทางซ้าย และถ้าคุณถึงแกลอรี่ คุณจะรู้ว่ามันอยู่ไม่ไกลแล้ว
